Make sure that there are no USB drives connected on the computer and that there are no drivers for USB 2.0 controllers. It is now capable of detecting USB 2.0 drives as well, but if it does not, you will need to reboot again. Thanks Bob. It tries to boot up ok but runs into a stop that displays tht it has found the USB port and needs a driver for it. you can try this out
One type only works with Windows 98 Second Edition. You absolutely must install the correct version of the generic USB driver for your specific version of Windows 98.
